About

Yoon Bae Jun (1990-) is an assistant professor, affiliated with the Department of Epidemiology/Biostatistics/Environmental Health (I am in the Biostatistics Division), School of Public Health, University of Nevada Reno. Jun has earned a Ph.D. in Statistics, at Seoul National University (2021), and worked as a Postdoc Research Associate at the Department of Statistics, Iowa State University (2021-2023).

Dr. Jun has been studying and researching Spatial Statistics, Spatial Epidemiology, Environmental Epidemiology, and Statistical Learning for spatially dependent data.

Dr. Jun teaches “SURVIVAL ANALYSIS FOR PUBLIC HEALTH (CHS 765)” and “APPLIED BAYESIAN STATISTICS (CHS 717)” as an instructor for a graduate at the University of Nevada Reno. Jun also teaches an undergraduate course, “INTRODUCTION TO HEALTH DATA ANALYSIS (PBH 281)”.

Dr. Jun has been one of the MS Health Analysis and Biostatistics program committees since Fall, 2023. Jun advises three MS students in Fall, 2024.
